Egyptian Writing (Hieroglyphs)
Now I am in Memphis learning how to write in Egypt. So far I am experiencing melancholy because I have been here for three days and I still have not yet learned how to write in Egypt's writing System. To be an Egyptian scribe meant that you had to attend a special school for scribes where you learn how to read and write hieroglyphic hieratic scripts. It was very difficult to learn how to read and write in hieroglyphs. Usually men were scribes, but there some women scribes. You would need a reed, ink, and a papyrus.
