I started at the heart of africa and hopped on a boat to take a ride down the nile river. I learned that the egyptians were attracted by the fertile land, rivers, mountains, etc. "The fertile land was vital to the ancient Egyptians success" that is because without the fertile land I don't think they would be as successful as they were with the fertile land. the"Because the red and black land it was difficult to invade the ancient Egyptians." It helped the ancient Egyptians big time, they didn't have to worry about others invading them." With all the rivers nearby the ancient egyptians had a easy way of trading and transportation." Without transportation it would have been a lot tougher to trade with others. The geography had a huge impact on ancient Egypt.
CEE Paragraph #2
Furthermore into my adventure I learned from the guide that the Egyptians geography was based on the nile river. "They used it for transportation, water for crops, a food source, the annual flood, and water for drinking." The annual flood would bring in silt making the land very fertile for farming. The Egyptians would know the flood was coming when they spotted a bird named ibises. "The Nile River lead to a type of trading known as bartering."Without the nile the egyptians would have a tougher time surviving. "The fertile land lead to great farming, which eventually lead to surpluses." Surpluses lead to SPECIALIZATION and SPECIALIZATION lead to many new inventions. The Nile RIver was very important to the ancient Egyptians The boat stopped at the Vally of the Kings where I found my first clue; it read "travel into the Valley of the Kings and meet my very close friends Khufu and King Tut who are very important Pharaoh's. They will give you your next clue." So I grabbed my belongings and journeyed off to The Vally of The Kings.
